The Tohatsu in-line 4 cylinder 150 hp 4-stroke outboard is both sleek and powerful. Our 115 hp four stroke outboard is an in-line 4 cylinder, with a DOHC 16 valve design, creating a compact and powerful engine. The BFT 115hp includes dual stage induction for improved performance and Lean Burn control for better fuel economy while at cruising speeds. This motor also features Maximum Acceleration System, which improves acceleration at low speeds. A quick movement of the throttle control activates the Maximum Acceleration System, advancing the ignition curve quickly. This will greatly improve “Hole Shot”. With on board warning systems such as low oil pressure, overheat, low battery warning, start in gear protection and over-rev limiter, the Tohatsu 115 hp four stroke engine gives you peace of mind while on the water.

Tohatsu’s 75 hp Four Stroke is one of the lightest outboards in its class, weighing in at just 359 pounds. This in-line 4 cylinder is equipped with SOHC, or single overhead cam, to deliver excellent torque and power. The BFT 75hp also features a Optimized Fuel Injection system that delivers the precise amount of fuel/air to each cylinder. Boasting the honor of the lightest weight outboard in its class, Tohatsu’s newly designed MFS 20hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) is a great choice for a wide variety of boaters. Just because it is lighter in weight than our previous 20hp four stroke, doesn’t mean this model won’t deliver the same level of performance. This 20hp battery-less electronic fuel injection four stroke has exceptional torque and top end speed, with low vibration. We chose to build an EFI outboard because it has easy startup with no choke required and smooth, crisp acceleration throughout all RPM ranges. Another added benefit of an EFI versus our previous carbureted outboard is the fuel efficiency at wide open throttle, which allows you to go up to 50% farther on less fuel.

That’s why we have taken our 15 hp model and made it better by introducing our MFS15hp Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) which is the lightest 4-stroke battery-less EFI 15hp model in the industry! The 5hp LPG comes equipped with a fuel line that will connect to any standard North American propane tank. Our innovative LPG outboard will run for a full 5 hours at WOT on a single 11lb propane tank, without sacrificing performance.

Exclusive to Tohatsu’s LPG outboard is the Safety Fuel Shut Off Valve which keeps propane fuel from continuously running when engine is not in use.
